Weather Reports

http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/sgx/gmap/index.php
Go to quick zooms and scroll to find your area of interest. It gives bouy lists and weather stations of your area of interest. Click on or scroll over the bouy or weather station of interest to get readings.

This is another very good one. For wind predictions click on the icon with pacific northwest in the box, scroll down and click on [surface winds]. It gives a wind forecast for every 3 hours and it updates at 5am and 5pm daily. There is alot of good weather information on this site. For me this is the best forecast model I have used.

Understanding Kite Power is critical for the begginer Kiter

Be safe be courteous and use common sense. Do not kite in crowded areas. Do not kite with anyone downwind of you. Its your responsibility to warn pedestrians if and when they walk in the path of your kite and lines. Please be courteous of all other beach users, kiting has been banned in many areas due to irresponsible and dangerous behavior of other kiters. When learning kite in light but steady wind conditions.

Kitesurfing Lessons

I have had some great sessions so far this spring and May should be a great month to take a lesson. I have already given a few lessons this spring in nice conditions and am looking forward to having a good spring and summer for kite lessons.
